British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
