Iran's military claims to have hit a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed operations throughout the Middle East in retaliation for a large-scale and continuing offensive targeting the nation by the US and Israel.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an vicinity close to the main base of the American Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The scope of any damage is unclear and the American officials has remained silent.

In other parts of the Middle East, the UAE, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - which all house American military installations - stated they have engaged and destroyed missiles in their airspace.
In the Qatari capital, the Qatari Ministry of Defence stated it had intercepted several missiles apparently targeting the al-Udeid air base, the biggest US military installation in the region.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard declared it was targeting US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in retaliation for the offensive on the Islamic Republic launched by the US and Israel on Saturday.
That preceding assault - initiated at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far struck locations linked to the Iranian leadership, with US President Donald Trump calling on the people of Iran to revolt against the regime.

In Israel, sirens were heard across the country after the Israeli military reported it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates announced that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems engaged the projectiles with great effectiveness and successfully intercepted a several projectiles," the statement continued.
The statement noted missile fragments landed in a residential area in the capital, causing some structural damage and killing a civilian.
The United States Air Force is stationed at Al Dhafra Air Base, south of Abu Dhabi, along with the Emirati Air Force.
