Seattle engineered a remarkable comeback to overcome the Rams in overtime, clinching their spot in the postseason.

Overcoming a 30-14 deficit in the final period, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, notching their fifth straight victory.

While the Rams had become the first to earn a post-season spot earlier on game day, the Seattle team booked their return to the play-offs after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their Conference standings with a 12-3 record, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the number five playoff position with an 11-4 record.

Signal-caller Sam Darnold threw two picks but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, including the tying score to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The visitors held a 13-7 lead at half-time before Walker broke free for a 55-yard touchdown run for the home side.
